Toronto, December 21, 2023 – In a collective effort to combat hunger and support those in need, the AWIN Group of Dealerships proudly announces a substantial donation to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
All AWIN dealerships and service locations joined forces this season to collect non-perishable food items, amassing a total weight of 7,497 lbs (3,400 kilograms). Three Mercedes Sprinter vans, two Metris vans, one Volvo XC90 and one GLE 450 SUV traversed the GTA, collecting the generous contributions from our dedicated staff and clients across all the AWIN dealerships. The gathered non-perishable items were delivered to the Daily Bread Food Bank warehouse in Etobicoke.
In addition to the food donation, AWIN and its dealer network are pleased to contribute to the cause with a $10,000 cheque presented to the Daily Bread Food Bank. This financial support further strengthens our commitment to making a positive impact in our communities.

Neil Hetherington, CEO of the Daily Bread Food Bank, emphasized the significance of AWIN’s contribution, stating, “Through this incredible initiative, all the dealerships involved from Oakville to Markham to Thornhill to Toronto are not only helping to provide much-needed food donations for families facing hunger but also raising awareness about food insecurity and having a direct impact in our community. The food bank needs all the support it gets.”
